HI! My name is Pinky Tinky, and I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love Pink Phones. That is why I am starting a blog all about the most important thing in the world, no not global warming, Pretty Pink and fashion friendly Phones of course! In the last few years we have seen a renaissance of Pink Phones, not to mention an unprecedented number of phones actually designed for those of us without a Y chromosome. I will discuss a new fashion friendly phone every week. I will talk about the fashion fails, as well as the ones we can’t live without. And I won’t just be talking about looks; I am going to also talk about what our mothers told us really matters, what’s inside.
Today I am going to start with the Sony T707. The T707 is one of my favorite phones, not only because it has stunning looks, but because it offers what Sony Ericsson is known for, amazing music-centric and multimedia features. The T707 is particularly good-looking, making it the perfect accessory to any outfit. The Spring Rose, of course, is my favorite, but it looks just as beautiful in blue and black (what’s up with the name, though? couldn’t they be more creative?) While the T707 is all about style it still comes with plenty of features you won't want to live without (ask Tom the Geek, I’m sure he’ll agree!). Unique pulsating notification lights notify me of my missed calls and text messages. Customizable light options let me even assign individual colors to contacts, I choose purple (no, not pink) for my bestfriend and blue for my boyfriend since those are their favorite colors. I love being able to see whose calling with a glance. I also love the smooth sleek high gloss finish on the front of the T707 that hides the display.
And here’s a bit of a futuristic feature... Remember how Tom Cruise (as Chief John Anderton) in Minority Report stands in front of this transparent screen waving talking to the computer and his hands to move stuff around? Well, the T707 isn’t quite there yet, but it’s coming along... with a wave of your hand it automatically snoozes the alarm or silences the ring. You gotta admit this really is the one feature you just won't want to live without! They’re calling this feature “Gesture Controls” (Sony’s naming team, are you listening? You really HAVE to get more Pink!). Well, while I really can’t say I love the name of the feature, I certainly love what it does (and so will you!).
Down to earth again, of course you simply have to have a camera in your phone nowadays. If you love your camera more than you love Pink (errr... how could you?), you’ll have to wait for another phone review. But the 3.2 megapixel camera takes good pictures and is social, to. It will let you upload your images to your favorite social networking sites using the built in web browser. So if you’re anywhere nearly as addicted to Facebook as I am, this is one you won’t want to miss. You can even use those (or any other) images as your wallpaper and create matching themes. And what’s really smart about it is that you get to have not one theme going on, but two, swapping automatically between night and day. Not too shabby if you ask me.

As far as entertainment goes, the T707 has enough to keep even me from getting bored, with features like an FM radio, video player, web browser and MP3 player to start out with. The MP3 player comes with Track ID, PlayNow, mega base, and album art to give you the best possible mobile music experience. So, okay, it might not be the Walkman (we’ll talk about some of those another time), but hey, when Pink is your priority, this comes close enough! The Sony T707 is one Pink accessory you won't want to leave home without.
